Our classes offer a fusion of Pilates, yoga and dance principles, creating a fun and comprehensive approach to movement. With a focus on varied tempos, we aim to challenge your body in different ways, keeping your workouts dynamic and engaging.

    MAT PILATES | MODERATE & INTENTIONAL

    Get curious with the fundamentals of flow, control, centering, and grounding while building strength in an upbeat and challenging workout. The Pilates method is centered around whole body wellness. We keep pace with the music to help achieve a greater sense of control and coordination. Check out of beginners times if you want a slower pace.

    DANCE FUSION | MODERATE & INTENTIONAL

    rhythm & flow is centered around blending stretch and strength using techniques of contemporary dance. The choreographed warm-up is designed to unleash fluidity, enhance joint flexibility, and nurture mobility, all while synchronizing with rhythmic beats. transition into barre and floor exercises, using the pulse of the music to guide your movements and cultivate strength.

Class FAQs

  • We provide mats, props, water, tea and everything you’ll need to feel good in a class. Shoes are generally not worn unless indicated.

  • We encourage class attendees to show up 15 minutes prior to the class start time. Feel free to stay after class for tea and hangs.

  • Parking is free around the studio but spaces are limited. We recommend parking on 16th or Lovejoy, parking on 17th is usually available.

  • We ask that you cancel appointments at least 12 hours prior to the appointment time. Refunds will be automatically sent to the payment method used to purchase.

  • Checkout Rhythms Pilates (Beginner) class times, 6:30 PM Tues and 10:30 AM Wed. Pilates will safely support you in building a foundation to move into more complex movements. We will still get creative and flow, but at a pace that feels good!

  • We work to hire quality instructors who are experienced in addressing various types of injuries. We understand that each body is different, and treat every body individually with hands on adjustments & cueing. Please feel free to indicate to your instructor what types of accommodations you’ll need, and if you are comfortable receiving hands on adjustments (you’ll be asked!).

  • Kids under 12 can accompany their caregiver to classes. Children 12-18 will receive 50% any individual class, workshop or package purchase. Send us an email at hello@rhythmspdx.com so we can plan for you!

  • After you have added your chosen class time to your cart, return to the Rhythms schedule on Vagaro. Reselect the same class time and you’ll be prompted to “add class for a friend”. You’ll see in the video below that there is a drop down option when my name (hello, it’s Tenley) appears.
